Experiments of DC Human Body Resistance I : Direct Current (DC) applications have become more prevalent in recent years, primarily due to the increased usage of renewable energy and energy storage systems. A review of the existing safety standards and other literature shows that there is limited experimental data on DC human body resistance.
Preventing Liability for Component Part Suppliers and Their OEMs : Most electrical products contain many component parts. Assessing the liability between the raw material suppliers, component suppliers, finished product manufacturers, installers, and maintenance personnel is a very difficult legal proposition. This article describes the law and offers some practical recommendation on how some of these parties can minimize the risk of liability.
